Can a lawyer accompany me to the border for the TN Visa? Is it required?
Answer:
A lawyer can accompany you to the border for your TN Visa, but it is not required. Most TN Visa applicants cross the border on their own, whether they are using the TN Visa Expert Kit or they hired a lawyer.
It costs money to have a lawyer accompany you across the border. Some will do it if they have had several denials or are very very nervous.
